Does Haven have a venue fee?

Our venue fees are on a sliding scale model and contingent on the price of the ticket and the demands of the show, and starts from $150 (a show with a ticket price of $10-$15, typical of a locals show) to higher venue fees for a show with a high ticket price and/or hospitality requirements, equipment rental, extra staffing, etc.

I’m a self-represented musician booking my own shows, how do the shows work at Haven?

For a typical DIY show, we consider at least one band to be the ‘promoting’ band. As the band contacting us to arrange the show, that’s you! That means it’s your responsibility to disseminate information to the other bands, and when the show is done we’ll pay you 100% of the ticket sales after the venue fee, and it’s your responsibility to divvy it between the other bands.

I’m a tour manager booking on behalf of band or multiple bands, how does that work at Haven?

Contact admin@havenmusichall.com directly for contract show details.

What are the responsibilities of the performers?

After confirmation:

  • A poster/graphic of the full lineup, date, times, and location (it is against our policies to use any AI generated images or posters in our promotional materials, please do not send us an AI generated poster or AI enhanced photos of your band).

  • Promote the event through your marketing channels

  • Tell your friends and family!

  • Communicate show information to the other bands on your bill

Day of the show:

  • load in and soundcheck at the designated time

  • tell the Haven staff if there’s anything else you need

  • rock out!

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least a month in advance.

When will I hear back?

Submissions are reviewed weekly. We try to get back to people promptly but if you don’t hear from us feel free to send a reminder email to admin@havenmusichall.com.

Are there any event restrictions?

We have the ability to do both all-ages and 19+ events. All ages events are wet/dry, meaning alcohol is still served but only to patrons over 19. Whether a show is all ages is at the discretion of HMH management.

Our music curfew is 1am.

What kind of events are you booking?

We’re interested in booking bands, drag performers, weirdo theatre, DJ’s, anything cool! We prioritize bands/performers that perform original material. Haven Music Hall isn’t the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay!

What entails a private rental?

A rental can be a private event or an event that’s open to the public. The venue rental fee is determined by the date and demands of an event. We are selective with private event rentals, and may decline a rental request if it is beyond our capacity! Please email admin@havenmusichall.com directly for rental inquiries.
